Dear Amanda, this is Fred Burns, the author, llustrator, and publisher of the children’s book titled, And the Trees Talked Back. I am reaching out to you in order to congratulate you on the success of Starryferry Books. I so glad to see your bookstore is having author book signing events and is generally doing well.
I was previously under the impression that Starryferry Books was solely an e-commerce bookseller, but the photo you posted of the book signing event looks like the store has a physical location.
As a first time author, it is difficult to identify accurate and reliable information upon which intelligent decisions can be made. I am learning day by day.
I was recently interviewed on the podcast, Reading With Your Kids. The host also invited me to create a segment for his show, Drawing With Your Kids, which I will do as soon as my carple tunnel syndrome is controlled. The same host is also promoting in March, my book at three book events, PTO Conventions, Marlborough, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and
Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The more parents, teachers, and librarians that are exposed to the book, the better.
