大阪府茨木市人，一九七一年生，小說家、腳本家、戲劇家。
舞台劇《在咖啡冷掉之前》榮獲第十屆杉並演劇祭大獎。舞台劇原著小說，入圍2017年本屋大賞，2018年電影上映，至今全世界授權34個國家，暢銷台、日、美、英、義等國。
身為川口Produce團隊製作人，活躍於舞台 、YOUTUBE。目前最大的夢想是，舞台劇《在咖啡冷掉之前》能在日本全國47個縣市公演。
